More often than I can count I hear people say they want to help, get involved, volunteer or do their little part to make the world better. Usually that is followed up with "I am not sure where to start." I have even heard people mention they are afraid to donate because they don't know where the money is going, or how it will be used.
We created a list of 10 organization focused on serving others from health, food, counseling, support and more. There are so many other organization to consider from too. But this is to give people a jump start to start looking into the organization that fits for you.
I think often people think what they need to give in terms of time or money needs to be big. But that is so far from the truth. In all honesty, it is the little things that we each do that makes a difference. Whether that is volunteering for a few hours each month or a few dollars each year. All of those little things add up when all of us are doing them together.
So even though this is our list we created, we encourage you to investigate and find an organization that blends with you! There are so many people in our community that need your help. YOU can be someone's hero. YOU CAN BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THIS WORLD.
