Children's Miracle Netw

Hurley a Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
Each year the state picks an ambassador to represent Children's Miracle Network.  This year former Hurley hospital patient Isaiah Struck, 8 years old from Bay City was selected.  He suffered second and third degree burns from a backyard bonfire. Hurley's burn unit was instrumental in his recovery.   At a recent press conference Isaiah and his family greeted the press with smiles and gratitude flowing from their hearts.  Not sure if he was most happy about cake in the morning, seeing the nurses that treated him or being able to miss school and not for medical reasons.  Isaiah's beautiful smile was contagious, soon everyone in the room was smiling.  Cameras from ABC 12 were present and this little guy's smile was front and center.  He has a gift of bringing joy to others while saying his story and gratitude for Hurley.  He is also looking forward to all of the fun travel spots that are being provided by Delta Airlines.
On now that vivacious smile will be the face Children's Miracle Network!

Did you know Hurley Medical Center is a the areas only Children's Hospital?  Children's Miracle Network Linda Tracy-Stephens provides insights from a 2014 Kudos magazine on Hurley's significance in pediatric care.  This little guy is going to be the face for the entire state of Michigan.
Kudos to Isaiah for his bravery during this treatment and taking on the task of being ambassador!
